  1. sure, happy to show ya the quirky back routes through fancy countyside… complete with even fancier country piles – where some brum commuters secretly live. Not too slow, but then I don’t work on my bike all day ; ). Takes about 1hr 45 mins on my fixed (2 1/4 on my my mountain bike fully laden with panniers!). Still 50 odd miles on a fixed gives ya saddle sore when you are a part-timer!

  2. Guinea pig, you could lead the ride if Thom can’t make it. Or help navigate if we get lost. Shall we meet on Sunday 25th outside Central Library, 10am? We won’t ride fast so you should be ok but if you want to get the train back that’s cool.

  4. Hey Thom. I think you past me t’other day on the Pershore Rd?? – you got the Moser bike?

Re. Warwick ride… as I live that way (1/2 the time) I have done various routes to brum or home from work. Would recommend Alcester road and across country towards Henley and then Warwick as the most interesting. Failing that, Acock’s Green, Knowle and then Warwick??

Are you going there n back though (that’s a 52 mile round trip)… not sure I is fit enough for both (could call in at my house for a drink though!). Train back
