  2. May try and make it down and show my face, or meet you at the pub. Tanworth in Arden is only a few miles from where I live. Work over in Birmingham business park near the NEC.

  4. 20 mile round trip sounds good to me

Ade from Sprocket cycles is coming if he can get back from Banbury in time, and I think Thom is coming too.

I don’t know if I’m definitely coming, cos I’m going to London in the van tomorrow, so I have to leave my bike at home, and I ain’t got a clue what time I’ll be back.

  6. Hmmm, think on Thames is too posh for us Brummy types… full of posh birds high on strawberries. We would get thrown out for being smelly and not shaving properly. tis a tad far too for guys with no gears too!

Ok, so meet at pigeon park at 6.30pm, roll down to the bike shop for Dan at 6.50pm and onto the Hare n Hounds about 7ish to hook up with H. Blimey, do we actually have a plan here!!!
you coming Bensta? that would make at least 5. is Thom comin too?
Thinkin we maybe we could go to the pub in Tamworth in Arden – that way we do a decent run but not too far to kill us. About 20 miles round trip? Tis just t’other side of M42, but 5 miles short of Henley’s regatta. Tis a posh looking pub with a nice clientele and a absolutely darling view of the quaint old parish church… just our style eh! So best behaviour then chaps and keep em peeled for girlees n strawberries ; )

i’m up for whatever – either a longer ride or a pub stop. riding back sounds good as i hate trains. henley’s nice too though.

  11. Anyone fancy a ride to a pub in Kings Norton instead? It’s called the Peacock, in Weatheroak. Ade from Sprocket Cycles recommended it, and it will be a bit less daunting than riding all the way to Warwick – plus it means we can cycle back instead of getting the train…
