  1. back o my wheels after a few weeks slacking.
Excuse is we got us a whippet puppy (Albert) a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been ‘training’ (i.e. brainwashing) him into thinking he is a fixie freak. trouble is he is outgrowing my old courier bag fast, so need a bigger one. He is fookin fast mind and will beat us slackers in a 100m sprint… no probs.

  9. Anybody hear “city Messengers” on Radio 4. a happy reportage of the recession and it’s effects on cycle couriers.

“couriers are indicator species” and “a luxury expense” – hmmm!

  17. I am indeed the Callprint messenger.
I’m a bit worried though as my bike is pretty shit and Dan said he snapped two track frames on the job!

If I don’t make the next alleycat you can slash my tyres.

  19. Critical Mass this Friday.
St Philips Cathedral, Temple Row (or Pigeon Park)

Last month there were more fixed riders than geared.
Afterwards there is much thirst quenching courtesy of the Anchor, a fine ale pub in Digbeth.

  21. rhb, hello!

Got a frame that might fit you nicely.

Its a rare old one by Tom Bromwich of Coventry, pearlescent turqoise late 60’s I think. one hundred coins for it..

  25. Yet to go fixed, and over in Cov, but found this today. Anyone post here from Cov?

Bacground: I’m looking for an old frame to work on to get my project fixie underway… I’m 6ft4 so the right frames don’t crop up often – probs need a 59 or bigger.

I’ll try to keep track on this site, and look back in once I’m fixed.
